God wants you to be with him, and He wants you to be fruitful in Him.  I have never seen or heard of a person who genuinely wanted to be used by God who was not very fruitful.  A major problem for most of us on Earth is sin.  Sin is what Satan uses to keep us from being fruitful in Jesus.  If Satan is able he will use the sin in our lives to keep us from God completely.  Of course we should do our best not to sin but in fact we will see that we still have sin in our lives while we are in this fallen world.

            We know that since the beginning in Eden there was sin and God put in place a system of sacrifice for sin atonement.  The Law of Moses of course also includes sacrifice for sin.  Now we see the sacrifice of Jesus completing the law and bringing us under the law of the Spirit of Life.  You are in the Body of Christ and He is in you.  People who are Born Again of God in Christ are dead to sin and are no longer under the Law of Sin and Death.

            Given this situation HOW do we proceed with spiritual warfare? First identify HOW Satan uses sin against us.  If we do not feel wrong about sin then likely our heart has been hardened which is rebellion against God.  If Satan can put us under condemnation because of our sin we will also have big problems and be very weak.  We overcome this by turning to God and acknowledging the sin while accepting forgiveness in Jesus Christ and our consciences are made clear.  This seems so very basic and it is, but we are shot down if we miss it.  We need God's forgiveness to succeed.  Many people in this world will turn away from God so that they can sin without feeling bad about sinning.  So many otherwise well meaning people do not look into the Perfect Law of Liberty and they see only their own guilt and condemnation.  In their sin consciousness Satan is able to deceive them and they reject having Jesus Christ involved and in control of every part of their lives. 

God’s love for us is so great that He made it so that after Jesus was sacrificed He puts His own Holy Spirit in us to live with us.  God who created all that is certainly made it to be the way He wanted it to be.  It is a very great thing that He created the concept of Family and chose to include us as His children.  He could have made the relationship to be any number of other ways but He wants us as Family with Him as our Father.  Often we will feel conviction from the Holy Spirit about something.  Those who are His children will also experience discipline as he deals with us for our own good. The reason God does not want us to sin is so that we do not get hurt by the sin.

       As we grow in Jesus we will see God working in our lives to make us who He wants us to be.  Some people will say that they want this but don’t experience it.  The question at that point would be have you really and truly and honestly given all of your whole life over to God?  God will not reject you!  Have you asked God to take over your life and make you fruitful in Jesus Christ?  Have you asked God to give you His Holy Spirit and to allow you to experience Him in your Life?  This is a prerequisite. Act on it. God wants you to volunteer without restraint.  Actually though don’t worry about it if you are not yet aware of much because God’s children can always look back at their lives and later see where their Father had been working.  He is there.  There is no greater joy available to mankind than to be walking with the Lord and experiencing Him working in your life and in the lives of the people you are working with.  Ask someone who is a missionary, pastor, priest, etc. and they will tell you about this.
